Proxipel Wins the 2026 Bio360 Gold Innovation Award (Biomass Energy Category)
Proxipel received the Gold Innovation Award in the Biomass Energy category at the Bio360 Europe 2026 trade show. This award recognizes PROXIFLEX, our mobile, all-in-one pelletizing unit capable of processing biomass directly on-site (grinding, drying, pressing, cooling). A solution designed to make use of scattered biomass sources, reduce transportation, and improve the logistical efficiency of local supply chains.
In practical terms, PROXIFLEX operates as a fully integrated plant mounted on a semi-trailer: the material is prepared, stabilized, and then densified in a single process, producing pellets of consistent quality suitable for use as fuel, bedding, or soil amendment, depending on the source material. This “as close to the resource as possible” approach addresses a challenge well known to those in the biomass industry: volumes are often scattered, handling costs are high, and transporting low-density material quickly negatively impacts the economics and carbon footprint of projects.
